At our Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) center, Occupational Therapy services are designed to help children develop the skills they need for daily living, independence, and meaningful participation in everyday activities. Our licensed occupational therapists provide individualized, goal-oriented care tailored to each child’s medical and developmental needs.

Every therapy plan is created in collaboration with the child’s physician and parent or guardian to ensure services are safe, effective, and aligned with the child’s overall care goals.

What Occupational Therapy Includes

Occupational Therapy focuses on improving fine motor skills, coordination, sensory processing, and the ability to perform age-appropriate daily tasks. Therapy sessions are structured, engaging, and adapted to the child’s abilities to promote steady and measurable progress.

Our therapists work closely with children to strengthen hand-eye coordination, grasping skills, self-care abilities, and participation in learning and play activities. For children with sensory challenges, therapy also supports regulation and comfort in different environments.
